The CNCF Landscape: Graduated and Incubating Projects

The CNCF landscape has over 1,000 logos. Open it for the first time and you'll scroll for a while before you reach the bottom. Every logo is a project or product claiming to solve some piece of the cloud native puzzle. Without structure, it's a wall of noise.

But the landscape is structured. The CNCF organizes projects by category and maturity level, and once you understand that structure, the landscape becomes a navigation tool rather than a source of overwhelm. For the KCNA exam, you need to understand how the CNCF evaluates projects, which projects have reached graduation, and how the landscape maps cloud native tooling across categories.
